Hi! Welcome to the "about me" page of Love You Love Quotes. I'm Jeannette Ramirez, your webauthor.

About me, I've been married (forever) and together hubby and I have five children - all grown, paying taxes, and producing the next generation. That generation counts 9 at present and note that this number will soon have to be amended.

My best credential for writing about love themes is that after forty-one years of marriage, I am very much in love.

In fact, more so day by day.

A sense of humor helps a lot in a successful marriage and perhaps you will find mine as I annotate the wise or witty sayings from the pens of noted great authors.

About my website - it's basically a literature search. My role in producing it is to find the quotes - mostly public domain primary literary sources - take excerpts, and - here's the fun part - annotate where I find something so blatantly misogynistic that I can't stand it.

I use half a dozen programs and techniques to find and process quotes - Boolean searches, concordances, text editors, graphics programs and the like.

Is this fun?

You bet!

I get a chance to do something else that I love doing - reading! Oh, and yes, offering my own opinion.

Some of the poems and quotations are my own original offerings. Wherever that occurs, it will be noted.

My current projects are the very popular site Here Be Limerick Poems, a cooking site, Formula Easy Recipes, my author presence on the Web, Major Enterprises and, of course, the site you're viewing now.

I am an established limericist and light verse poet (think Edward Lear, Gilbert of Gilbert and Sullivan, and Ogden Nash) acknowledged by inclusion in the University of Pennsylvania's website directory under the heading "Celebrating Women Writers" (under the pseudonym "Molly").

Why did I complete their application with a pseudonym?

...When I wrote my first website pages, I was very shy about "putting myself out there."

You get over it.

I don't take myself too seriously but I do take my writing seriously. I am one grain of sand on a large beach and that is what precisely allows me to reach out to you, my visitor.
